AIR: Newark International Airport is just 35 miles from the center of Somerville. Take I-78 West for 27 miles to exit 29 - I-287 S - toward Somerville. After 4 miles, take exit 17 (on the left) for US-22 toward Somerville. Follow US-22 for 2 miles and then make a right onto North Bridge Street, which you will follow for 1 mile, when you will reach the town center.
BUS: New Jersey Transit buses run from New York's Port Authority to Bound Brook, Branchburg, Manville, Montgomery, North Plainfield and Somerville.
CAR: From New York City: Take the Holland Tunnel out of Manhattan and follow signs for I-78. Take I-78 for 38 miles to exit 29 - I-287 South toward Somerville. After 4 miles, take exit 17 (on the left) for US-22 toward Somerville. Follow US-22 for 2 miles and then make a right onto North Bridge Street, which you will follow for 1 mile, when you will reach the town center.
